1. Connecting: Transcendent Love Leads The Way

This is the most essential element of DEPTH Dialogue. It is what makes it a practice of Dynamic Pattern Transcendence rather than the lower level of experiential repatterning. It corresponds to what Trager bodywork repatterning refers to as "hook-up." (See the section on this in the Introduction section.) It is hook-up of the whole being, engaging all levels and areas of your experiencing as well as you deepest, truest Self.

This section builds on the Introduction section on Deep Loving Friendship. An understanding of that section is an important preparation for understanding of this section.



YOU are the living embodiment of your true Self. RIGHT NOW in this very moment. You always are, always have been.

The DEPTH Dialogue guide recognizes this in you, as who you truly are in the midst of who you have thought you were, believed you were, felt you were, sensed you were. He recognizes this in you long before you recognize it yourself.

And THIS is the main function of DEPTH Dialogue. Not the guidance, not the dialogue, not the skills that the guide brings to the practice, although these are essential also.

The main function of DEPTH Dialogue is to recognize who and what you truly are, both in your essential nature and in your true life expressions.

Because of this, the DEPTH Dialogue guide is like a devotee, someone who lives in adoration, not a leader, teacher or authority on anything.

It is authentic devotion to Self, because you ARE Self! It is Self loving Self. It is the eye (I) beholding the eye(I.) It is the rare and exceptional priveledge of Self to view the living embodiment of Self right before him. This is something Self can only do by viewing and recognizing Self in another living being.  (This is clearly spelled out in Plato's dialogue called Alcibiades Major.)

Therefore, the practice of DEPTH Dialogue is unlike anything else on earth. It is the living dynamic process of Self revealing itself to Self, right here in everyday life, in normal person-to-person conversation.
