DEPTH Dialogue is a unique experience. The descriptions of it and its background so far, don't give you a good idea of what it feels like inside. The only way to give you a taste of that other than actually doing it is by analogies to other experiences. So, what follows aren't descriptions of DEPTH Dialogue itself but of experiences that give you similar FEELINGS.

DEPTH Dialogue is like getting a deep sensual massage for your whole being, relaxing you all over so that you can open up, feel lighter, freer, softer, more creative, have the feeling of transcendent ecstasy and know your true Being, your Self, letting that come out into all areas and aspects of you .

More precisely, it is like the deep repatterning practices mentioned in 3. Where It Comes From, but encompassing your whole being, not just the body-mind complex.

The feeling and experience are most like the repatterning practice called Trager bodywork. This is one of the most unique, remarkable and effective of the body-mind repatterning practices. It is the practice that most clearly and simply exemplifies the principle of dynamic pattern transcendence on the body movement level.

DEPTH Dialogue's scope is far greater than that, but the similarity will help give you a picture of what the experience is like. It is very much the same, but extended to all areas and levels of your being.



Here is what that similarity feels like:

The experience of getting a Trager session is one where you settle down, relax on a massage table, and someone who is skilled in the process gently moves and rocks your body. As this interaction happens, tensions and difficulties that you came in with seem to melt away, to literally disappear. At the end of the session you don't even remember that you came in with those tensions or difficulties. You feel so completely different that it is like having a different body.

This process is so effective that this kind of seeming miracle happens unfailingly every time. The experience is remarkable and unmistakable. And it is so easy and pleasurable that you may wonder how those incredible results could have happened.



DEPTH Dialogue's effects are just as remarkable, unfailing and unmistakable, but at a much deeper level, encompassing your whole being - your thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, actions, experiences, creative impulses and sense of self.

DEPTH Dialogue is not bodywork, and it is not done on a massage table but as a simple conversation between friends. But the inner experience and the effects are similar to what happens in a Trager session. You could almost call it Trager work in depth for your whole being.

What Trager bodywork does for old body movement patterns, DEPTH Dialogue does for the whole neuro-physiology of selfhood. It is dynamic pattern transcendence at the greatest depth and the furthest scope of human experience. And it transforms you right down to the deepest bodily physiological level, the place of the deep primitive emotions that drive your every action, experience and expression.

This kind of deep-feeling shift in experience that changes your whole being happens unfailingly every time. The shift may be small one time, big another time, and huge some other time, but there is always a remarkable change that is so all-encompassing that it seems like a miracle. As in Trager bodywork, you literally forget what the tensions or difficulties you started with were. And the process is so easy and pleasurable that you may wonder how those incredible results could have happened.

And these results happen just as easily and simply for seemingly big things as they do for small things. The process is the same, the principle is the same, the shifts are the same, and the results follow like day follows night. ALL experiences are the same in their basic shape and form, in your internal patterning, and so they all yield easily to the shifting process.

Because of this, there are no longer ANY big problems in life. ALL problems can now be seen in the light of the ease of DEPTH Dialogue shifts, to be just old bogey men. They are puffs of smoke when deep self-exploration is applied.



A session of DEPTH Dialogue, when guided by someone who is well-practiced at guiding, is a full, rich, unique type of experience unlike anything most of us are used to. It is as different from ordinary experiences as getting a Trager bodywork session is different from living with your day-to-day tensions.

Here, you settle down, relax, let go and start feeling better. You start to feel into the pleasurable core of Life Itself in you. And then you let that Life-in-you come out through your whole being, spreading the ecstatic core pleasure that is the main quality of Life as a direct bodily experience.



This is an active process, so you are also learning, by doing, to create those ecstatic core pleasure feelings for yourself on your own all the time in your daily life. This happens because you are learning to be more spontaneously creative across the board in all areas and levels of your existence.

This life-centered creativity, like the spontaneous play of young children, is the natural producer of transcendent ecstasy. You feel that ecstasy as you are doing DEPTH Dialogue, and it carries over into your life more and more as you get more and more used to that mode of functioning and incorporate it into yourself.

So, we do DEPTH Dialogue to become freer, more creative in our whole lives, and to have the natural transcendent ecstasy that is in that new level of functioning.



This new level of functioning transcends all fears and smooths out all difficulties in life, because it is emotionally, experientially and mentally a way of organizing your internal experiencing that creates a completely different orientation toward living - one that does not create fears and problems. Transcendent ecstasy "trumps" the emotions that create suffering and turmoil in life. (See The Heart Of It, for a full explanation of this.)

Fully engaged creativity enters into life's situations with the mastery that comes from fully conscious creative play, rather than the struggle that comes from the lower levels of life's dramas (i.e. conflict enactments.) So, situations in life still arise, but they are no longer dramatized and no longer seen or experienced as suffering or problems but as elements of experiencing to be played with.



Thus, all of life becomes the stuff of play and happiness. It is that way because you have learned to do it that way. You have created a new life for yourself. You have learned to engage in the creative activity that is ecstasy itself, like little children at play.

A happy necessity, indeed!!! Because, look where it takes us. Through fully engaging our deep internal creativity, it takes us to ever-expanding, ever-deepening transcendent ecstasy, our true, up until now only dreamed-of, happiness.



So, the reason to do DEPTH Dialogue, is the necessity and the exciting prospect of living in true happiness.

This is now the case both individually and as a world of people acting together, because the modern complex world is now facing a choice of going into great wide open spaces of a new existence of transcendent creativity, or continuing on with the old ways and facing extinction of life of earth.

But only individuals can make the choice of accessing and fully engaging their inner creativity, because it lies in each individual alone. Each of us now has the exciting possibility of not only living a life of true creative happiness but also the choice and necessity of creating a new world!


This is a world for the free, the happy, the creative, the adventurous. It is a possible world. Fully engaging our inner creativity is the process that will make it happen. DEPTH Dialogue is the activator of that process.
